King and Thu began their journey in Allston, Massachusetts, where they ran their first TeaMoji store for five memorable years. At the start of 2025, they relocated to Woburn, fell in love with its vibrant community, and opened a new TeaMoji location that quickly became a local favorite.

Before venturing into the world of tea, King spent several years working at State Street, building the skills and determination that would later fuel his entrepreneurial path. Thu has been a dedicated Human Resources specialist in the public sector for over a decade, bringing her warm professionalism to every aspect of the business.

TeaMoji isn't just a store—it’s a second home. King’s go-to drinks are the refreshing Aloe Lychee Pop and the First Love Smoothie. Thu enjoys Thai Coconut Milk Tea with lychee jelly and the indulgent Taro Black Sesame with pudding. Their two young children are a lively part of the TeaMoji family, often found at the shop after school, making new friends and sharing joy with families that stop by for drinks, games, and connection.

"My wife and I have been customers of TeaMoji starting a few years ago when they were still in Brookline/Allston area. We are sad that they changed locations, but that won't stop us from following them up I-95 to Woburn for their delicious drinks! Our favorites are the taro sesame milk tea and Thai tea-taro frappe combo. On top of it, the shop is owned by a wonderful couple who are kind humans and very invested in the quality of their drinks and food. You won't be disappointed when you stop by for a quick refresher or a small snack at TeaMoji Woburn!"
